"Woooooohooooooooo! Who's ready to paaaarty?!" They heard a distant shriek approach them, along with the shuffling of feet against pavement and the clattering wheels of a suitcase being dragged behind.
A grin slowly inched its way across the boy's face which was half hidden by the bill of his cap. He was excited to try something new, especially if it involved being away from his parents for the entire summer. By the looks of it, this wasn't going to be like the various vacations he had spent in Las Vegas or Miami but he did have a knack for transforming any situation into a good time.
He got a better look at the people who stood at the cabin's entrance. So far, it was a cute girl and a chill looking guy.
With an extended arm, he chimed "Hey, wassup?! I'm Derek."
