Deidre found herself waiting to be called. She was never much of a patient person so it was hard. She forced herself to sit still and not fidget. She was here for help, not to think about the OxyContin in her purse which sat in her apartment, or the Lortabs and Norco's in her bathroom...the things that would stop her pain and anxcity. she stood and started to leave when she was called. she glanced at the woman guiltily a s she smoothed down her outfit, a simple black
dress and heels.
"Deidre its time" the woman said with a smile. D almost felt like crying. Could she do this? she doubted it but her friends and family believed in her. they needed her to get better. She nodded to the woman and stepped though the doors her eyes strait ahead.
"have a seat dear" the woman said, so Deidre sat in a chair close to a girl in a nice skirt and very cute pumps. the thought that she was noticing others shoe's made her smile because that meant she wasnt thinking about pills. Her mind switched to a new track. She had only turned 20 a few days ago, and that was still a shock to her considering she felt like she was 120 now a days. She looked around the room and did her best to not make eye contact and not disturb anyone as she let her thoughts roam.
