After Jaxson had spoken, the tension in Chuck's muscles slowly relaxed. He was relieved to not be the only alcohol addict in the room. In chuck's eyes, an alcoholic was always the middle aged, miserable sloven who had given up on life. It was nice to see another seemingly normal guy share his problem.
Once Jaxson introduced himself, the attention seemed to circle around the room like a gun's revolver which landed squarely on his unsuspecting self.
"Erm, yeah. I'm Chuck... Porter and I'm an alcoholic." He twisted his face and shrugged his shoulders, sinking back into his chair. He noticed everyone's eyes on him and all he wanted to do was crawl into the fetal position.
