Iktomi, or Tom, as he prefered, was at that moment sitting on a ratty old sofa on the side of the road. He could live where he wanted, because in all reality he was one of the most powerful of the old gods left; his worshipers ever vigilant..clicking the mouse or changing the channel, there WAS a reason the T.V. was called the 'idiot box' after all. But ol'Tom prefered the simple things...like watching a squirrel trying to cross a busy street. Already it had dodged three or four cars in it's panic to decide if crossing the street was what it really wanted.

Something of an oddity, Tom was a technological trickster god...of the Native Americans, some of the most anti-tech people there are. As such he was kinda an outcast, his own brothers kindly asking him not to live with them. It was fine with Tom, he liked the outside anyway. And Loki usualy had some crazy thing or other going on, and as an old schemer himself, he played Devil's advocate.

It was moments later the small animal got ran over. Tom shrugged and started people watching.
