Jayze woke with a gasp, sucking in as much air as he could. He felt like he hadn't breathed for weeks, but then, that wouldn't make much sense, considering he'd be dead by now. He glanced around the small white-walled room and wondered for a moment where he was and where everyone else could be. He sat up and hung his legs over the small, uncomfortable bed he'd been laying on. What happened? he wondered. His eyes widened suddenly and he looked frantically around the room. Where is everyone else? We went on that mission and I don't remember what happened! Why am I here? He started to get off when a woman rushed in and pushed him back. "Oh, you're awake. You shouldn't be up and walking around yet," the woman told him.

Jayze waved her off, getting off and walking to the door. He didn't feel like he had any injuries. He felt fine, actually, aside from a bit of a headache. "I'm fine. I'm gonna see the others," he told her before leaving. The lady allowed him to go. He walked down the hall, finally reaching the lounge where he spotted some of the others. He sighed in relief, before covering it up and beaming widely. "I'm glad you guys are alright!" He paused a moment, his smile faltering as he leaned against the wall and scratched his head. "Uh, but what happened with the mission? Did we win?"
