Millie looked around the office, her eyes scanning everything. The main part of the office, empty except herself and some other students, was large for a visitor area and had three large leather couches, the pillows colors of cream and dark brown. On each side, there were two mahogany desks with a big vase of tulips on each side with a small clock beside it. The administrators sat behind the long black granite counter, typing away at old dinosaur computers with glasses put carefully on the very tip of the nose.

Most were elderly or in their older prime. She looked down into her purse, searching for her favorite Marc Jacobs aviators for when she got home, and looked up to see a heavily pregnant teenager. All hopes of not having a cliché school of drugs, sex, and breaking rules came crashing down in front of her steel grey eyes. When she locked eye contact accidently, looking for a clock on the wall, she smiled sheepishly and turned away nervously.

The administrator handed her the schedule she'd lost in the mail, along with anything she might need. Millie thanked the administrator, walking out of the door and headfirst into a guy with messy brown hair and glasses. He looked lost as well, and nothing like the other kids. He had on a Beatles shirt, one of her guilty pleasure bands, and tight black skinny jeans that hugged his legs very well. She apologized in a quick manner, words flying out of her mouth before she could even catch a breath.

Once she stopped talking, she rubbed her shoulder nervously and grinned shyly before the two were flooded with students of all types rushing to class for the first bell had just blared. "Bye." She commented softly, turning on her heel towards her first block. She looked behind her to wave sheepishly at the boy, stopping to look at her schedule. "Damn." She muttered under her breath, looking at the room numbers.

Millie looked to the room closest to her, nothing close to her number. And the number in front of her had three numbers, not four like the paper. "Room 2202, where the Hell is tha- oh, second floor." Millie mumbled sheepishly, looking at the staircase. She walked up slowly, lingering on the dark wood staircase. Once she got onto the second floor, she walked into Mr. Williams room, which was full of sophmores and a video playing. "You're Millicent Laurence, right?" Mr. Williams asked, some of the students giggling at her name which was usually paired with a woman four times her age. "It's Millie, Mr. Williams." She replied sheepishly, sitting in the only seat available, next to another person she didn't know.

Beau was getting his schedule, walking out of the office to see a new kid, probably the one Isa was telling him about. "You're a new kid, right? I'm Beau, I'm a Junior." Beau told him, smiling. He remembered his first day at this school, he was overwelmed. But he was a freshman, and this new kid was probably a Junior the least. Beau walked into his homeroom, his Pre-Calculus classroom full of different Juniors he went through school with together.

"'Sup Princess?" One of his only skater friend, Asher Greene, asked as he sat down next to him. "Got a new schedule. What's with you Prince Charming?" Beau asked, bearly listening to the teacher droning on and on about something or another. "Got a new tan, and a new girl." Asher answered, looking at the teacher constantly. Asher was always getting in trouble, and the one place where he tried to not have problems was the clas-

"Mr. Greene!" Mrs. Landings, the Pre-Cal teacher, snapped as both of the boys' heads whipped to the front of the room. "Is there something you and Mr. Wilde would like to tell the whole class?" She asked sternly, both of the boys shaking their heads. "Then pay attention!" She snapped in reply, returning to her speech about something or another.

Asher commented on how she was in her third marriage, and Beau couldn't help but laugh. "What is so funny, Mr. Wilde?" "I'm sorry Mrs. Landings, something peculiar to my psyche occurred to me but it would not be appropriate to say so in class. I'm sorry if I disrupted things." Beau answered back, suprising his classmates and even Mrs. Landings. "Alright then, Mr. Wilde."
