Carlisle slowed his laughing when Nikki brought out the cards. He stepped back, for he once heard of the cards she kept and how she could throw them. After a moment, Nikki sliced a part of Bel's face. Carlisle gasped, fearing that Bel would unleash his anger on Nikki sooner than later.

Carlisle began to run forward to intercept the Prince's attack when Bel licked the blood off his hand. Carlisle shivered at the sight. The man was a psychopath beyond anything he'd ever seen. Carlisle was quickly interrupted by a sound at the door - a doctor. Bel's face lit up like a lantern, and nanoseconds later, the doctor was in the room, face to face with Bel.

Bel's words grew into nothing but an indistinguishable cacophony after a moment, and Carlisle lost it. Running forward he pushed himself between the Prince and the doctor, holding them both by their shirts. "Bel!" His voice dropped to a level he had never heard since he killed his father. "What the fuck are you trying to pull? You're not going to get to torture anybody. These -" He pointed to the doctor - "are the ones who will be torturing you, and quite soon if you don't let this go! So let your anger out now, but don't blame it on me when you're the one in the basement getting your eyes ripped out of your head!"

Carlisle paused, staring down Bel with a murderous glare in his eyes.
