Jake looked into Raven's eyes and was sucked into his thoughts. It wasn't a pleasant sensation but Jake had long since gotten used to it. He saw Raven's powers over the Earth and his mastery of blades. He then saw the connection he held towards the girl. He tried to go deeper into his thoughts but he was prevented by this man's subconscious. His mind was hidden by walls of defense that only the truly powerful can obtain. Jake was propelled out of his body, which was only seen from the outside by a slight twitch, and looked at the mechanics on Ravens left arm. "A mighty weapon for a mighty warrior. How often do you get to use it?" Jake noticed the new comers and gave each a nod of his head. However his full attention was still on Raven. This man would make a powerful ally and a deadly opponent and Jake wanted to get at least one powerful ally.
