Raven stared at Jake for a moment, this man was interesting. He had a sort of mystery about him, this was something new to Raven. Every person he met he could read instantly, just by feeling the energy they give off into the earth. Everyone did it without knowing it, people walk or stand and depending on their emotional state they would give off more or less energy, but this man didn't give Raven much to go on. Maybe it was his wings or maybe this man was good at controlling himself. But, that really didn't matter, Jake gave off enough for Raven to tell he could be trusted.

When Jake asked about his arm, he looked at it and said "This is a weapon I only use when i need to fight with everything I've got, its rare that I use and I like it that way." Raven smiled a little and then said "I like your wings, where can i get me a pair." Raven was only joking, but he did see the useful nature of wings in the middle of a battle. He then thought about himself with a pair of wings, he shuddered a little at the thought of how odd he would look.
