Sean stepped back just a bit at having the adorable little critter shoved in his face, and beamed at his friend. This is the exact reason why he was practically in love with her. Everything she does is just so over the top and she lights a room better than flash. At the mention of the battle club, Sean stopped to chew on his knuckle and think, “Yeshica…” He said slowly through the obstruction between his teeth. He pulled it out before continuing, “Oh! Her! I remember her…” Sean didn’t necessarily approve of Jessica. She’s very gifted and bright, but she’s just so… there, if that makes sense. Sean prides himself in being able to live and enjoy living. He looks down on others who just seem to exist rather than live. Jessica was always physically in a room, doing something, but she wasn’t emotionally, and that always brought Sean’s smile downward.
He thought about it some more though, and looked down at Seanapillar, who looked back up with those perpetually happy eyes that Sean always adored the most about his pokemon, “Y’know… I think it’d be fun to go and see her battle,” And maybe kick her ass at it too, he thought mischievously. He looked back at the adorable cream-colored bundle in Amy’s arms, “Although,” he said, bending over to pat its head, “I agree that you two should watch rather than get hurt.”
When the manager let out his steam at the kids, Sean decided it was best to do as he was told, seeing as he now had what he came fore. He took his gal-pal by the crook of her elbow and led her out of the store. Just outside though, grouped around a bench, was a small crowd of people. Some of them had been in the store, but of course, Sean didn’t talk to anyone in the store.
Sean smiled as he walked up to them, and was passed by a very bored looking girl, “Hey guys!” he said brightly, “Amy and I were going to go to the battle club and watch a few battles to get us in the mood for our adventure. Are you in?”
