The Battle Club was a decently crowded place, filled with trainers of all types and appearances. Some walking around with egos that were practically tangible, others who were visibly shaking in their shoes. Sean was definitely leaning toward the latter. He had faith in his wurmple, and some in himself, but he wasn’t sure how experienced these other trainers really were. It’d be humiliating to be smeared across the arena. He looked down at his companion, who looked up at him in return with a look that was filled with hope and anticipation. Sean nodded and walked forward to the front desk. He reached into his pocket and realized he spent all his money at the pokemart. Curse my materialistic personality! he sighed and was about to turn away, when in a flash, Amy took care of everything and headed off to look at the contests. He nudged… Oh Arceus, I never did catch his name… Amy, I love and hate you so much. Maybe if I’m lucky there’ll be some way of getting him to spill it without the awkwardness… Sean inwardly laughed and nudged his companion with a chuckle, gesturing toward Amy, “I’ve seen sonic booms move slower. Am I right?”

“The next round of battle club will begin in five minutes,” Spoke the reception lady through a microphone, “trainers should prepare themselves and their pokemon and wait in the arena.”
“Come on,” Sean said, smiling, “Lets go get ready.” He picked up his wurmple and stepped through the doors with butterfrees in his stomach.
