Gabriel had began to open up one of his two chocolate frogs when a sound was heard. He had lifted his head a bit, holding the frog loosely in his left hand. He squinted some, seeing a blurry figure before that someone yanked thyself around the corner. It that instant his chocolate frog was ripped from his hand and hit the floor, causing him to immediately shout, "Damion!" In that instant the chocolate frog began hopping from the compartment, down the aisle of the train. Gabe huffed, "You owe me a chocolate frog," he announced, eyeing his friend as if he was mad before chuckling. "But that was a good one. Where have you been!?" he asked, a goofy grin crossing his lips. He figured it was the whole "being late" ordeal, but who knows, Damion knew quiet a few people he figured. Hearing someone say "A chocolate frog?" made Gabe sit up straight in his seat. It sounded like it came from the compartment right to the left of their's. "That would be mine!" he called, standing up. Hey, he paid for the frog and wanted it!
"Could you bring it to me?" he then called after getting no response, glancing at his friend and smirking triumphantly, like he won something. Still hearing no response made Gabe worry a bit. Was he hearing things now!? He reached back with a large hand to rub the back of his neck, sitting down once more as the compartment door slid open again. Laughing a bit, Gabriel watched as a girl with black hair and a confused expression entered slowly. In the center of her slim right palm sat his chocolate frog. "Might not want to eat it now, it's been on the floor awhile." she commented as a calico cat sauntered in and rubbed up against her legs. Gabe had seen her around school before, they had talked once or twice, nothing big.
Devin had went and changed into her robe then walked back to her compartment, after having stopped at the trolley an bought a pumpkin pasty, of course. She had sat down and Cosmo was back in her lap in no time. As she opened her pasty she went to take a bite when something caught her attention out the corner of her eye. Narrowing her eyes just a little she gazed at the door of her compartment, a chocolate frog having squeezed in the small space. "A chocolate frog?" she said aloud, looking down at Cosmo who just 'mewed' in response. She then heard a voice however, claiming that the chocolate frog was his. It was a slightly familiar voice. However, Dev made no attempt to move as she simply watched the frog which just sat there. Her mouth was agape and the pumpkin pasty was laying slightly on her lower lip. She shrugged, biting into the sweet candy as the same voice called out once again. "Could you bring it to me?"
Devin chewed then swallowed, a inaudible sigh passing her lips. She then stood, Cosmo hopping from her lap as she walked over and bent down, scooping the chocolate frog into her right palm, leaving her pasty behind. Silently the girl slid from her own compartment, hesitantly walking to the compartment which the voice came from. She slid the door open and stepped inside cautiously. Dev was surprised to see the boy who was running by the train in there, but she made it a point not to stare at him like he was some mystical being. She,instead, turned to the guy who laughed when she stepped in. "Might not want to eat it now, it's been on the floor awhile." she told him, holding out his precious chocolate frog. She waited for him to take the thing, shifting her weight uncomfortably to her other foot. This was a bit.. awkward to say the least. When she felt something soft run across her legs her blue eyes flickered towards the ground. Spotting Cosmo made her crack a tiny smile. That cat followed her everywhere..
