She simply loved games, and she knew the March Hare would have nothing to fear. Lyra believed that if a game wasn't fair then it wasn't a game at all. The March Hare would be the only good person there she she made sure David would follow the boy around and make sure he wasn't harmed. Johnathan knew more about Lyra than most people did. Well expect for Crys, that cat knew more about her than she knew herself. even though they were extremely different, she still considered the March Hare and her to be friends, she never hurt him, she wasn't afraid to even invite him to the ball.
