McKenzie looked up as a girl walked into the art room. She was not inclined to make conversation, so she returned to going over her paintings. They were... alright. She found herself a bit disappointed at her work. Her nature scenes seemed overdone and her strokes seemed far too long and obvious.
What she wanted was a painting that a person could see and recieve a feeling of how real it all seemed. The one painting that made her feel any emotion at all was the one of everyone in the library. She couldn't believe it. Painting people had never been her strong suit, mostly because she hated most people.

She had really captured the subtle expression Angela had while looking over classical music books, Pandora's bright blue hair and focus on drawing, Frankie's bubbly excitment, Bambi's and her own fed up expressions, even Shaun coming up behind her. They certainly were an interesting group of people. The way she had placed the light made them all seem more alive. She decided to trash the other paintings and keep just the one. She discarded her badly done paintings next to the trash can by the door, grabbed all of her stuff, and went to her room to put her painting away. Placing on the ground and leaning it against the wall, she grabbed her needed stuff and headed off to calculus. She took a seat in the third from last row, knowing that teachers only ever paid attention to those in the back and the very front.
