Mari woke up with a scream as Masa woke her up. Blinking a couple times she noticed it was only the boy, Masa, his name rung in her head. Looking up at his panicked face she struggled to get lose. The ropes were tight, rubbing the tender skin on her ankles and wrists. After a minute or two of messing with the scratchy rope Mari finally got it undone. Lightly rubbing the irritated skin she noticed the man on the floor. As she tried to stand her legs wobbled as Mari collapsed back onto the floor letting out a slight sound showing her pain.
