Rick had spent many hours of his youth in the woods hunting, and had once been mauled by a wolf in a situation similar to this - except this time he didn't have a gun, but a wrench. It would have to do.

The instant Rick was on the ground he knew that the next few moments would mean the difference between getting to the venue and ending up the living next meal of a stringy-limbed moron who also just happened to be capable of turning into an embarassing-looking wolf. So Rick waited for the glowy-eyed-wolf-boy to open his jaws again, promptly spat out a well-placed "Shut the fuck up", and jammed the spanner vertically between Zeke's jaws, propping his mouth open and effectively rendering his bite useless. From there Rick was able to gain the advantage, punching Zeke hard in his windpipe and rolling him over, then regaining his feet and proceeding to plant several decisive, fight-ending kicks in his ribs and groin-area.
