At some point, Jack had Madison go to the hospital. After he got her settled in, she made things incredibly difficult with her moodswings, annoyed by the child, but at the same time, even angrier at Jack. Time passed. Jack worked as hard as he could, with Madison caring little for his labor as long as he put food on the table.

Jack walked into the hospital room after finishing work that day, sitting down next to Madison as she was brought in her food.

"How's the hospital?" He asked calmly. He kept trying to establish a husband wife thing between them. "It's almost time…"
