Okoi glided over to Nami, cradling a porcelain flower in her hand. "Nami, this fell out of your hair." She reached forward, lowering her eyes at the man, "Let me place it back for you." The flower slid into the girl's bun easily. Okoi might have been a geisha caretaker, had she not been elected as a geisha already. It was the gentleness, she thought, the subtlety. The woman turned towards the man in the military uniform.

"Good evening, sir." She lowered her head slightly, feeling the brush of dangling cloth flowers against her right ear. They were red, matching exactly the color that stained her lips. She was adorned with a deep blue kimono, embroidered with white and pale yellow waterbirds, and a purple obi. She was a colorful geisha tonight, although it contrasted strongly with the timidness of her personality. "I must say farewell, however." She turned briefly, walking away as smoothly as which she came.
