I moved into the path of that arrow of my own free will, as I will do again and again as needed." He shook his head. "I will not lie, Zanetta, you are a marked woman. You will be attacked by many more men like we were tonight. But as long as I breathe the good, sweet air of the living world, I will not allow anyone to harm you." He took her hand in earnest.
