Veronica sat depressingly in her room, hating every second of being trapped in this place. She stood up, looking around for a cigarette or a lighter. Why did they have to take her lighter? It was like her best friend... Well, it was her best friend sadly. Looking around, she frowned as there were no places really to hide her cigarettes if she ever got a hold on them again. Unless she were to hide them under the bed, but something told her that the doctor lady would check there or had cameras in her room. She hated cameras. And phones. They were what had led her to come here, after her arson and homicide trial earlier in the year.

I guess it's better than jail, she thought, standing by the door. She had been locked in for the time being it seemed, as if she were some animal. She was not an animal! She just really wanted to light that doctor on fire right now for keeping her in here. She banged on the door with her hands. "You can let me out now!" she yelled.
