Hallik pushed his way through the streets, dragging the captured man behind him, getting quite a few looks. But, it didn't matter, no matter what would happen now, the man would be getting drunk and Hallik would be having a grand time. He arrived at the tavern and pushed through the doors, depositing the man at a corner table.
He walked to the bar, ordering a few drinks, and sat himself across from the man. He waited in silence, staring at the man. The drinks came, and along with them, a roll of cheap cloth, as requested on the side. Hallik looked to the man's wound and to his staff, with the exposed edge. The man could wait. He wrapped the blade.
"Drink." It was an order. The man refused, but well enough. More for Hallik. He scooped the mug into his hand and took a deep pull. "Get your story straight, I won't harm you. They will."
The man was stoic, he wasn't fazed. Good for him. Nothing to do but wait.
