Neil smiled at the young spear user and did make note that she was alone. That was odd, he had automatically assumed that she had been with her partner when she came here. He had seen the pair of them in the bar when he was there with Artur and the rest of the Red Wolves (He wasn't one to miss a pretty face) . But no matter, she was here now, although it did make him a tad curious about where her partner had run off to if Artur had indeed rescued them. "Ah indeed. Your beauty must have just made me see double for a second, Ferma" he said to the sharp tongued spearwoman. He smiled at her and left her to whatever reaction she may have to that and turned to ask Artur what the hell was going on and after their detour, what the plan was.

But instead, when he turned, he caught Artur stalking off muttering something about Haliik hijacking the prisoner. Niel grimaced to himself thinking of what Artur was going to be doing, perhaps he should offer his services in this, he'd done that more than once. However, on second thought, Haliik was there and he wouldn't ignore a direct command from Artur now, would he?

So, defeated Niel turned to the other man that had come in the company of their commander. A desertman by the look of him, or a decendant of one, but he carried himself well, and carried the partisan well in his hands. With that Niel deduced he must be a traveller, someone who left the desert for one reason or another and had been wandering for a while, seeing the world. The desert had no need for a heavier weapon like the partisan, and it would just be more burden for less effect while traversing great distances over the sands, while on the same token, the spear traditionally used in the desert would be too flimsy to pierce decent armor. So this man must have had at least one run in with bandits in his time, who knows, maybe he was looking for a mercenary group.

But this was all conjecture. Niel approached the man and took his waterskin off his belt and held it out to the other man. "A drink?" he asked.
