He knew that Midnight was charming, but he honestly didn't have a clue what Grant was referring to, and Grant had even implied that Koda wouldn't know what he was talking about. Grant really should have elaborated on that.

He thought about Grant's description of Gabriel. "So so far he sounds like a golden retriever" he noted. "A golden retriever I have a vendetta with conecidentially." He was quiet as Grant told him of all the suicide missions they'd gone on. He didn't really understand why either. Why would Byron want to get his own daughter killed? It just didn't make sense. But obviously Grant didn't want to talk about this at the moment.

"Tell me later" he said "But not over drinks. And stop talking about wine. I'm really trying to not drink any more this evening and you're mking it inceasingly difficult. If I didn't know better, I'd say you were trying to get me drunk on purpose." he accused "Just so I'll embarass myself."
