Roland looked solemly at the piano draggin her finger lightly along the keys. When she had joined him an even began to play the same song he had created, he had felt a strong bond with her but just as quickly she had stopped and left his side to wander he music room seemingly avoiding all the other instruments. It's if she had changed in those few moments and had allowed herslef to be happy but she was back to her usual self now. There was no deniying her flesh was tempting and her mind sharp but he always felt that she lacked emotion in the things she said or did. IT wasvery odd but I supposed it was just part of her personalty.
"Music is said to have great power. It can call to those both willing and unwilling and has been said to tame even the most vicious of beasts. How long have you been playing? I am unfamiliar with the tune you played, did you create it yourself?"
Roland shook himself out of his head and looked to where she was. "I did create it. I call it The Rouge. I made it up after reading a particuarlly good book. It inspired me to compose this song and it took me a good month to perfect it." A new woman entered the room, she by passed Eurydice and sat next to him. "You must be Roland, my name is Alcina and I am your other host. So sorry for my late arrival. I do hope you forgive me"
Roland smiled at her. "It's very nice to meet you and don't be concerned about your tardiness, these things happen. And thank you for those kind comments about my music. Have you met Eurydice?" He asked pointing. "She is quite skilled as well, why just a moment ago she was playing my song right along with me."
