Dusk-Rose
I was somewhere unfamiliar, and I was definitely somewhere but it was all blurred around the edges. I tried to move but i was stuck, i knew i could move but i couldn't get my body to budge. Suddenly there were people around me chanting my name and insulting me and I was on the playground back in Elementary school. 'You don't belong here" a faceless person yelled "Who are you anyway, you freak" another called. Then I was falling... Dusk screamed, she had fallen out of bed onto the floor. Luckily the carpet had cushioned her fall so it didn't hurt at all. She sighed, knowing she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. She stood up and put on a baggy t-shirt over her tank-top and opened the first stuffed animal box and dumped all of them on her bed. She looked out the window that faced the back of the castle and she sat down on the floor next to it, taking in every detail there was, trying to get the dream out of her head. Why did these old memories always come back to her? Why was she here, she didn't understand why she didn't want to be here. She didn't have anyone to miss, or anyone who would miss her... she had always been alone.
