Loki Lockheart
Five houses away from Sai's came another ring of an alarm clock much louder, so loud that its sound shook the house. It would keep ringing for ten seconds more, then a half awake boy would grab the closest thing near him, and throw it at the alarm clock, hitting it with extreme accuracy. The clock goes down with a clank, and a sound of glass shattering would echo the house. Ten minutes after, a voice of a mother can be heard:
"Loki," said a tender voice, "Loki, honey, wake up, you're going to be late for your first day of school."
At the sound of school a peacefully sleeping Loki bolted out of bed as if he had spikes on his bed.
"I wasn't sleeping Mr. Fujiwara, I swear!" Loki blurts out. A moment of silence follows. Then realizing, he was dreaming, and that the voice was from his mother, he sank back into his bed.
"Oh it was just you, mother. You scared me for a second," said Loki with a sigh of relief "so what brings you to my room?" Loki's mother took a breath in and sighed, then with a smile she replied.
"I said you are going to be late for school, if you do not hurry up."
"What!" exclaimed Loki, "Today is the day when school starts?"
"yup" replied his mother gleefully.
"Oh no! I totally forgot!" with those words, Loki searched desperately for the clock. "Where is the clock?" he asked his mother.
"It seems that you have thrown something at it" replied the mother pointing at what was left of the clock. Loki rushed to the broken pieces and flipped over the clock to its face. Surprisingly it still worked after all the bruises and scratches as well as occasional smashes. That was what was expected of this clock, Loki made it himself after all, but this was no time to be admiring his handiwork. 7:35am the clock read. Only ten minutes before school starts! Loki was in a hurry.
Quickly he bolted to his closet where he put on some black pants and his school uniform. Then he quickly grabbed his backpack and rushed to the bathroom. There he quickly washed his face, and checked his hair. It was smooth and organized, too much for his liking. Loki put his hands on his head and started rubbing it until his hair was as wild as a mane of a lion. "there" he said to himself, "much better." Than after a quick smile to himself on the mirror, Loki sped through the door. As he was going out his mother lectured him on not staying to late, and coming home, blah, blah, blah. She worried too much he was 17, he is fine, at least that's what he thought. Now Loki was outside running to school when his mother called again.
"Loki!"
"What now?"said Loki sort of agitated.
"You forgot your lunch." said his mother dulcetly.
"Oh," Loki blushed "Right sorry.." He took the package out of his mother's hand, and his mother smiled at him as began to rush out again.
Loki looked up at the sun. Then looked down. "That's unusual, the sun is brighter today than ever" he thought to himself, but then he realized that he was not wearing his blue eye shades. Loki took it out of his pocket and put it on, and then looked up once more. Much better. Judging from the sun it was 7:42am, and he had about half a mile to go. He was already getting out of breath. Loki stopped, to catch his breath. He had no choice, but to do it. Loki looked around to make sure no one was here, than putting his left hand on top of his right fist, he said "Gate of the Lion, I open thee!" with a flash Loki's hair grew longer, and a tail popped out of where the tail bone would be; Leo Lionheart was out.
"What a hassle, sending me out at a time like this" sighed Leo. But nevertheless, Leo started to dash full speed to school. By 7:44am Leo was at school. Then he was fully transformed back into being Loki.
Students walking past started to snicker as he passed back of him, and girl students would cover their face with their bags as they walked past him. What was up with them. Sure they were rude to Loki for being a halfling, but they would at least have the courtesy to say hi. More students passed by snickering. Hmm.. Was it the way he dressed, or was something on his face. Then a kid new to the school came up to Loki, ignorant of who he is, and pointed out what was especially wrong: Loki had a hole in his pants near the butt. Then it hit Loki, as soon as he transformed into Leo, his tail must have ripped a hole in his pants. His face red, Loki thanked the newbie, and went to a corner so that no one was looking at him. He took out his pen with duct tape wrapped around for support then ripped the duct tape off of it. Afterwards he took out a sharpie which conveniently matched his pants color and colored the duct tape. Then finally he patched the hole with the tape. No one would notice anything wrong unless they came within a foot of him, and usually no one does except his friends. Standing up from where he had been sitting, Loki noticed a familiar face sitting alone near the bench. It was Sai! Quickly, Loki started his way towards her, so quickly in fact that he mistook his step, and tripped on a tree root. Had he just fallen to the floor, he would have saved himself extreme embarrassment, however Loki tried to save himself by fighting against gravity, causing him to lean a little to the left. Now conveniently a new innocent girl was walking past Loki while he had been balancing himself, so close in fact that she collided with Loki, resulting in Loki's face meeting the poor innocent girls bosom. For a moment Loki was in Heaven, then he realized what he had done, and quickly pulled himself out of the girl's breast. Loki tired to apologize, but before he could even open his mouth, the girl bashed him with her bag. It was a homerun! Loki skidded a few yards landing right below Sai's feet. There, Loki's eyes met Sai's. She looked especially beautiful today, her rosy cheeks resembling a flower, her hair glistening in the sun, and her breasts bigger than last year..... Wait a minute. Scratch the last part. Loki realizing that he has been lying on the ground for more than he should, quickly got up. His nose was bleeding, not from getting hit, but from all the pervy things he went through today, still no one will no the difference. Loki straightened up and tried to make a conversation with Sai. He wanted to tell her how beautiful she looks, but the only words that came out of his mouth was "Hi Sai!"
