Jorma let Aro lead her, though bleeding through the floors was very strange she did not complain, simply observed the situation thoughtfully. When Aro began talking she listened politely, intrigued that someone else had willingly become a Kishin for the same reason she had. Science was the only thing that made sense but the only way to make perfect sense is to know it all. That's what the D.W.M.A. had been unwilling to let her do, that's what she intended to do now.
"The Emblem of Darkness, that's what Baltor and I came for." She said quietly. "Perhaps you and I are looking into the same experiment..." She trailed off, a bit unwilling to descend the stairs, but Aro tugged and, still in the trance, she followed.

There was another, shorter hall at the bottom of the stairs, this led to a set of large and thick wooded doors decorated intricately with thick and thin wrought iron wire. The wire joined with a spiral at the separate doors to seal the doors closed, however, there was no keyhole and the iron clasps had convenient handles with which to raise the top wire and thereby unlatch the two doors. Aro and Jorma stopped at these doors and Jorma admired the artwork or iron and carvings in the wood, waiting patiently for Aro.
