Diive watched as Broly suddenly stopped, and turned to send a sharp, rather powerful kick toward Diive. The kicked sailed onto him, kicking him straight in the face, thus causing him to flail backward a bit. He didn't expect an attack so early on in the encounter, he wasn't prepared at all. The kick hurt, but Diive was able to quickly shake it off. Diive held back his fury for a moment, to explain who he was, and what he was doing.

"Broly, I am Diive, sent from the planet Vegeta. I am a saiyan, like you. I was sent to see just how far along your progress on Earth was. Minimal by the looks of it. Have you somehow forgotten your objective here Broly? You were supposed to wipe this planet out, were you inable of performing said task? I don't like destroying whole planets either, nor killing a planets inhabitants, I only do it for the power, the experience, and the thrill of the fight. WAIT, do you still have your tail...?" said Diive, asking the question of the hour.
