Kieran's eyes never left Rivera as he thought to himself. He didn't like the idea of being tied down to anyone or anything. He was an independent demonic. Not a soul-tying guardian. But the power... that was the idea he liked so much. The idea that could make it worth it. However, there was always the chance that the power wasn't as infinite as she'd made it seem. Kieran said nothing.

Finally, Kieran's eyes strayed to the stranger who'd followed them. He had offered to go some place else to sit and talk. Perhaps that wasn't a bad idea. Kieran, apparently, had a lot to learn. "Where do you suggest we go?" He asked, pulling up the hood of his cloak again. He wished his lock would stop glowing. "No where public. I don't want the attention," he commanded.
