Voices. He could hear voices behind him. Ruko turned his head away from Yuka's door and slowed his knocking to see who it was in the room behind him. He grinned widely when he laid eyes on Mukuro standing at the doorway. He didn't get to see his older brother very often and it made him sad. Why couldn't they all just live together? The rest of them did and, even though he's already eighteen, he stays here to help with things. So why couldn't Mukuro stay with them all? He's sure he's not the only one to miss the eldest sibling either.
Ruko opened his mouth to call out to Mukuro, but he stopped when the door behind him opened. βWhat the hell do you want Ruko!β Ah! Yuka! That's right--he had a problem! He couldn't just stand around here making idle chat with all his siblings, he needed to take care of this situation. There was no way he was going to be able to sleep in his bedroom ever again if Yuka here didn't take care of this predicament for him.
Again, he opened his mouth to say something, but was once again stopped by the familiar, alluring smell of Silvia's cooking. It was unmistakable. She was always the best cook in the house. All thoughts of mice or flesh-eating mini-monsters completely disappeared from his mind as if they were never there to begin with. Already, he could feel his stomach growling and his mouth starting to water. How could he of possible almost forgotten breakfast? It was the most important meal of the day, after all! βFoooood!!!β Ruko let out a noise of surprise when Yuka suddenly grabbed him by the wrist and yanked him along after him.
Oh, it was always the best sight of them all to see! Food! "Thanks, Silviaaa!" Silvia always seemed to make enough for all the growing children in the house. Ruko had no idea where she managed to get the supplies for this stuff, but he never really questioned it. It was there when he was hungry and so he was a happy demon. Piling his own plate up, he grabbed a fork to dive in next to Yuka, but a lingering thought reminded him of something and he suddenly stopped before even taking a bite. With a small frown, Ruko peeked his head out of the kitchen to look at Mukuro. "Aren't you coming..?" he asked the older man. It wasn't often that Mukuro visited them and Ruko didn't want the chance to eat breakfast with his older brother to go away. Mukuro probably had something important to say too, but Ruko wouldn't allow him to say a word without having eaten something!
Going back out into the living room, Ruko gave a smile in greeting at Grace before going around Mukuro and pushing his elder brother forward. "C'mon, c'mon, Mukuro! You have to eat with us or I won't eat anything at all!" He could feel his stomach growling again and he frowned. "And I'm really hungry!"
