Renz
The airport was busy today. It has always been busy. The young man was walking through a wide hallway, with his ticket in hand. He thought about the progression of his plan. He was too busy thinking, he didn't notice how slow or fast his legs are moving. Renz shook his head, trying to get a certain thought out of his head. He knew he shouldn't think about it. He needs to move on to a new start, and forget about this whole mess. As he walked by a small eating spot, he saw a glimpse of the television hanging on the walls.

"Local news have stated... this is just in! School shootings happened minutes ago... Police are unaware of the shooter's location..."

Renz was aware of the attention it caught. The people were staring at the screen as if they were hypnotized by the situation going on at the campus. He knew people were going to sympathize, anyway. The school and the airport aren't too far from each other. So Renz wasn't surprised the news got hold of what just happened already. After all, he was there. He was the killer. As the group were just behind his head, he walked faster. On top of his priority, he want the whole thing behind his back.

Renz eventually got into the elevator. As he entered, it was a little bigger than he expected and there were three people inside. Two of them are guys, one with a hooded jacket and the other knows how to look good. The third one is a pregnant woman who looked a bit young. Of course, he did not care. Or tried his best to not care. He pushed a button on the control panel near his side and leaned on the wall of the elevator. There were four people in the elevator, and Renz tried to act normal, looking through his cellphone and pushing random buttons. Soon later, two more people will join in the elevator. Renz was somewhat getting annoyed at how crowded this elevator was. Still, it won't matter. Once he gets on his flight to the Philippines, his new life can start. His goal was just right there, after this simple little elevator ride. But it had to happen.

The elevator violently shook and the lights kept going on and off. Renz held onto the rails on the elevator and bended his knees. He remembered seeing something like this on a survival channel and, by instinct, forced himself into that certain position. By the time the elevator stopped shaking, the lights were dim. Although the ride wasn't enjoyable, he felt little pain and no broken bones. Thank God, he thought. No, he quickly took those thoughts back. It wasn't the time to be relieved. When it would only take an elevator ride to the lobby of his flight, the whole plan had backfired on him. He stood up, brushed his shirt, and took a look at everyone else to see how they were doing.
