Rachel screamed as the ship fell apart around her, dropping her into the surprisingly cold water. She tried to keep her Digivice above water, but the weight of her shoes and backpack combined to drag her downward. She at least had the presence of mind not to release what air she had in her lungs, and instead struggled frantically to get out of her shoes and backpack. Her chest grew tighter and tighter. I'm going to die. I'm going to die...

And then she was free. She rose to the surface, gasping and choking for air. She threw herself over the nearest piece of driftwood big enough to hold her weight, and watched with a sort of stunned detachment as Marco did CPR on Ren. Against all odds, the girl came back to life, and just in time for her to activate her Digivice, as did Marco. Rachel took one look at the Digivice still clutched tightly in her right hand, and held it up. A light brown light grew up around her hand, and spread to her Digivice, from there traveling as a beam of light to cover the Whamon.
