Lucas visibly tensed when the van pulled up outside the mansion, and replaced his headphones from where they had been sitting around his neck, he felt safer with them on. Lifting his backpack, he exited the van, surprised at the sight that awaited him...he knew it was a mansion, but he hadn't expected something this huge...it could easily fit his whole hometown in here with no trouble at all...Okay, I'm probably exagerating, but still...well, as mom says, best foot forward...or as I say: let's get this overwith..., he grimaced...he hated new schools, he had been forced to transfer many times before, because of his 'Gift'...Lucas looked up to check where he was going when he saw a girl around his age running towards them.
