Sora was too busy dodging claws, teeth, fire and electricity to even think about retaliating, so when Beka took her place by his side to help, he was thankful, "If you wouldn't mind." Stay out of this little girl and we won't have to kill you too... Shouldn't have said that...
His reactions kicked in when he heard Cerberus roar, knowing that that meant the doggy-lion was about to launch a fireball. Shoulder driving Beka from it's path, he had a few seconds to cover his face before the fireball impacted, launching Sora flying backwards, into a building. Quick as the lightning she was using, Ishtar was in front of him again, picking him off the ground by his neck, "Aww, did the big bad wolf hurt the little piggy?" She threw him again, but this time Sora caught his footing via a handspring. (Think of an Aerial Recovery, but one that pays attention to gravity)
Standing, he noticed that he wasn't the only one fighting demons. Quite a few teenagers, adults, and even a kid or two was doing the same thing, What happened...about 10 minutes ago, everything was fine. The ensuing carnage from the fights had left a lot of debris around, allowing Sora find a weapon. Specifically, a length of pipe, the size of his arm. Holding it back-handed, with it running up his arm (Think Ventus), he prepared himself for another attack. Beka had now started fighting Cerberus, (sort of, she was more running interference to prevent it from helping Ishtar fight Sora) and Sora seen a pipe that would fit her style. Picking it up and throwing it her direction as hard as he could (which is pretty damn hard), he turned his attention to the demon in front of him, "Quite a good friend you have there. It'll be a shame to see her crying over your broken, lifeless body, but that's what has to happen, nothing personal, you understand, right?" Sora pretended to think it over in his head, before charging her, "COMPLETELY!" His sudden charge caught to demon off-guard, allowing Sora to get a strong hit in with the pipe, sending the demon crashing to the ground, "You wouldn't hit a girl would you? Even if I am a demon..." She feinted weakness, to get Sora to lower his guard, not aware of his stance that gender means nothing in a fight, "In combat, yes, would. Now get up, you look pathetic." Ishtar did so, then attacked suddenly, but Sora managed to slip an attack through hers, sending her to the ground once more, "Fine, I give. I'll make a contract with you..." When she said that, she turned to light and went back to his cell, which was past Cerberus and Beka, "Beka, one down. One to go." He ran towards her, and as he got close, she suddenly rolled onto her back, with her feet in the air, which Sora jumped on. When she kicked up, Sora was sent into the air above Cerberus, and brought his heel down onto it's back, which caused it to lie down. It stood almost straight away, but instead of attacking again, it bowed it's head, growling all the while. Once it had bowed fully, it too turned to energy and returned to his cell. Limping over, he picked it up, to find a new button had appeared near the bottom, one that had a large "S". Curious, he pressed it, once he did, a menu came up that had the names 'Cerberus' and 'Ishtar' in it. He pressed the button to close the menu, flipping shut his cell as he put it in his pocket, he limped back over to give Beka, who was still sitting on the ground, a hand up. Once she was on her feet, his a dizziness kicked in from the pain he had just received, causing him to collapse into Beka's arms, "S-sorry..." He said, as she helped him stand upright. He opened his cell again (out of newly found instinct), pressed the "S" button and clicked on Ishtar. It showed a list of abilities she had, before asking for confirmation. Pressing "Yes", Sora held the screen away from himself. Appearing, Ishtar immediately knew why she had been summoned, "Oh, that's right, you got beat-up pretty bad, here let me help." She outstretched her hand, causing a glow to appear around both Sora and Beka. Sora immediately felt a boost of energy. Ishtar glanced about and sighed, "It's a shame I can't see this world properly, like you lot, but so is the life of a contracted demon..." With another sigh, she returned to his cell. Sora turned back to Beka, "That was...unique, to say the least." He laughed slightly as he spoke, a little bit high from the adrenaline, and a lot happy they both made it through...
