"You said it, Sora...though I dunno if 'unique' would cover it", Beka, also still on 'combat high', replied, letting out a small, amazed laugh of her own...that had been the best fight she had been in for a while, even if her opponents hadn't exactly been human. She still had the pipe that Sora had thrown her, she liked the weight of it in her hand: it made her think of how it used to be, when she had lived here before. She and Sora always seemed to piss off any local gangs for some unknown reason, so the two of them had gotten into a lot of fights over the years that they had been friends...
"Why'd ya think that happened anyway? Cos of that text? I just got this phone as well...", she said sadly as she looked down at her phone, surprised that it had actually survived the fight, although there was a long scrape down the side of the screen. It was still usable, but it didn't look as shiny as it had when she had gotten it, which was only a few days ago...
She turned to the boy who had offered to help before, "I take it this crazy trippy-shit's just happened to you as well?"
