"Aradia, this is Lucas Williams. He is going to be joining us at the Institute." Professor Xavier said as they exited the van. "Hello," she said holding out her hand to the newcomer. After a minute, it was obvious that he wished not to have contact with her. She thought this might be associated with his power. She listened as Professor Xavier introduced her to him. She consented at Professor Xavier's request to show him to his room. "Of course," she said with a smile. Make him feel welcome she heard in her mind. She was used to this kind of contact with the Professor and so, she didn't jump like many people did. She waved as Jean and the Professor made their way towards the mansion.

"Well," she said turning to Lucas, "if you'll follow me, I'll take you to your room." And with that she headed in the direction of the mansion.
