Abegail's eyes flickered briefly to Walter. She nodded, still pointing the sword at the Niclas and the Dannan man. "Tell me, what will you do when the others in the caverns come to stop you from taking the sword? You do not have everything with you and the last time it took all the pieces to defeat them." Her voice was eerily calm, almost devoid of her accent. Abegail walked forward a few steps, the sword still pointing at the men. She raised her chin, hazel eyes flashing more green for a moment. Her hands were warm, and she realized it was the sword.

Abegail remembered what power the sword afforded it's wielder and she knew she had the upper hand for a moment. Stepping closer to her friends, she looked at the Dannan man. In his usually impassive face she saw that he too knew what the sword afforded her. Abegail smirked slightly, "Aye, I know what it gives me. It whispers to me." In her soul she could hear the spirit of the sword talking to her. The Dannan man's eyebrows raised. "Oh aye, I know what it will cost me...." Abegail swallowed. Oh, the sword was making it very clear that there would be a price if she did indeed use it.

"I am prepared to pay if it means my companions leave unharmed. Do not doubt me." Abegail's voice was still calm and almost cold sounding as it echoed off the stone walls. "Now, will you let them go?"
