Blinking, Ashton watched as everyone slowly met some shimmering being. He still stood in the doorway and was leaned against it while he examined them. His curiosity was peaked to say the least. They sounded like girls from their voices. If he looked hard in their definite direction they did have a few features he could make out. Strange place… he thought as he smiled. Suddenly he heard a slight familiar swish of clothes and his brow furrowed. Where had he heard that sound before… Rustling came from upstairs then the pitter patter of small footsteps. Feeling it sounded all too familiar he straightened and perked his ears up a bit to hear well.

Before he knew it a small familiar girl was clinging to his back. She giggled and smacked her lips against his cheek in a kiss. “Hewwo Val!!!” she squealed into his ear and he winced slightly. A small amused smile turned his lips up and he shook his head. “Hello Yoyoi. How on earth did you get here?” The child jumped off his back and then hugged his leg. Looking up at him she smiled a toothy grin and gave him her best “I love you” expression. “I hide in big bag!” Sighing he sat down at one of the couches and placed her in his lap. Yoyoi immediately snuggled into his chest with a content smile. “I don’t suppose your mom knows you’re here… God knows what the school will do if they know you’re here.” The child gave him a sleepy smile and he simply couldn’t be mad at her. He looked up and continued to watch his companions and the ghost-like beings interact. What a hectic day… and it’s not even over…
