Destiny couldn't help but laugh at his futile attempt to grab her hand. "Stop apologizing," she said between giggles, "It's only instinct." She began on her way to the stairs, and led him up, passed the other girl's rooms and ending at hers, walking through the door that the construction workers had left, so kindly closed.
"If you want to stay here, be my guest, you're just going to have to keep it clean." She called through the door, "by the way, my name is Destiny, Destiny Hail. I don't like the nickname DeeDee, but if you think of something else, feel free to call me that, I like nicknames."
She walked over to the bed, it, too had a thin layer of dust on top of the plastic dust protector. The whole room still smelt of her ghostly perfume, that of caramel and vanilla, the scent that followed her everywhere. She breathed in the air, it was so sweet, then sighed.
"A-are you coming?" Destiny asked, almost afraid that he had run away while her back was turned.
