Joe snorted a little, flicking his hand at the air uselessly as the sun shone right on his eyes. Mumbling something incomprehensible even to himself, he turned over in his bed. No. It felt like futon. Sweet. They must have found a swanky hotel after the convention. He smiled slightly and grabbed hold of something. It felt warm, actually, and soft. He nuzzled his head against with a content expression on his face, that is, until he felt the pounding of headache. He grimaced. He needed some more of that fruity drink from last night. And maybe some taffy. That would kill the headache for sure.

Lazily, he thought back the day and night before. The comic con had been everything he dreamed of and more. There were a bunch of anime and cartoon artists, writers, voice actors, directors, and everything along with a bunch of fans like himself. Most people were cosplaying and there video games being demoed. He even got to play Star Wars: The Old Republic. Then there were the sweets, the type of sweets that were only available in Japan conventions like this one. He almost drooled at the thought of them. Kapis, hi-chew, puccho, pucca...

He groaned, the sound of water taking him out of his short state of bliss back to the reality of his throbbing headache, "Ugh, damn it Dom! It's too early to shower!"
