If you did something like that, the whole room would smell like wet Sora."
"Actually, some people have told me that I have smelt like wet dog sometimes..." Sora said, joining in with Dess' laughter.
You don't have to do something crazy like that if you don't want to, but..., Oh, oh...
Sora just went along with Dess as he was dragged to the kitchen, If she could get to a pet shop, why do I get the feeling that she would buy me a collar?.. He nodded when she asked him to collect water for her. Suddenly, both of their stomachs growled, as if synchronised. Sora let a little laugh out, "I'll get us something to eat while I'm at it, hm? You'll need to start getting used to eating, by the sounds of things..."
Sora went to his backpack, that was still where he had discarded it the night before, and fished out a spare set of shoelaces. Looking at them puzzled for a second, he shook those thoughts from his mind. Tying one end to his collar, and the other end to the neck of the bottle, "This way, I have both hands free..."
Sora took off through the rain. It was still reasonably early and the rain was coming down heavy enough to through Sora's jacket quite quickly, and as such not very many people were out. As he began to approach Hachiko (which seemed a little eerie, because of how empty it was), his head started to hurt and his bracelet began to burn. He fell to one knee, and collapsed flat out on his stomach.
Beat! Look there, that boy looks hurt!
So, he is, 'mon Phones, les give 'em a hand!
Hey, you alright? Call Shiki, Rhyme tell her that we need to delay our meeting slightly...
The voices started distant and barely audible. Sora did, however, feel one of them pick up his left arm, the other quickly copying him and lifting him up by his right one, that person seeming to realise the heat being given off by the bracelet, as adjusted himself so that it wouldn't affect him as much.
Hey man, wha's up wif da bottle. An' da collar.
Beat less quizzing, more carrying.
Jus' askin'
As they got closer to the dorm, at Sora's request, the pain started to subside, allowing him to walk by himself. They walked a little further before stopping, trading names and cell numbers, and said goodbye. Sora went back to the dorm empty handed (well, he had the rain water, well and truly). As he entered he noticed that he had a slightly burn mark from the bracelet. Letting the bracelet fall into a position that covered he walked back to the kitchen to see what Dess had been doing while he was away, dripping and squelching as he went...
(That pain happens to both people in the link when they get too far away from each other.)
