Kitty
Kitty's eye twitched slightly when Beloved wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, and held onto her as if they were lovey dovey again. This wasn't right, he was the enemy, he was getting too comfortable with her. He was supposed to fear her, at least a little, he knew what she was capable of, she almost wanted to scream at him to open his eyes, this was the real world for God's sake! One little kiss doesn't mean anything! It doesn't mean she's friendly with him. Heck, in the Bible, Judas kissed Jesus on the cheek right as he was betraying him!...Right as he was betraying him... Kitty was Judas in all this, wasn't she?
She hadn't realized her hand was in an irritated fist until, "Where was the cute little blush you used to get when I kissed you?" Since Afterlights couldn't physically blush, her Afterglow turned pink and she looked down at her feet. That's when she saw her fist, tightly clenched and trembling with the weight of Kitty's boiling frustration. She loosened up and sighed, she could use this new comfort he had with her against him, as long as she didn't screw it up this time.
His lips touched her cheek gently, but confidently. "I'll take that as I can kiss you whenever right?"How cocky! That bastard! The twitch in her eye became more evident, but she hid it with a pained smile.
"Sure. Why not?" She muttered in a less than enthusiastic tone of voice.
"I would say me and you can go to my bedroom but we can take it slow."The fist was back. "But Since One-Eye is here also I guess we can talk about something else." She breathed out a sigh of relief and squirmed out of Beloved's grip, something she seemed to be doing a lot of lately. Without saying a word, she lifted One Eye to her feet and lead them both inside the bedroom, then latched the door locked, again.
"Now, lets discus the more dire matters. Have you all heard the rumors about Mary Hightower?"
