Maddy fell in love instantly, lovingly petting the little dog, and swooning over it like a dazed fangirl watching Twilight. With tender care, she scratched behind each of his ears, on the side of his neck, and anywhere else she could think of that would give the dog comfort. She was so absorbed by the cute tiny puppy that she didn’t even hear screams and shouts coming not too far down below her. In fact, she would’ve missed it completely if she didn’t just so happen to look out of the window in time to see a guy being slowly captured by water.

She leaped up, gasping, and almost knocked the dog onto the ground. Quickly cradling him back in her arms, not really caring to see if she startled or angered him in any way, she raised her right arm up, fist clenched, and punched straight through the airplane window. Glass exploded everywhere. While shielding the pup from the shards, she brought her hand back to investigate it. There were no cuts and it felt perfectly fine, save for a slight tingle, so she shook once or twice, and stuck her head out the newly made hole.

“Hold on! I’m coming!” Maddy shouted at the drowning guy. She then proceeded to try and climb out of the window, which she quickly realized it was too small to do so. Panicking, and completely forgetting about the existence of an emergency door, she threw herself against the wall, with the opposite arm carrying the dog in front. A metallic boom sounded, and the plane creaked a bit from the force. When she stepped back, there was a slight dent where the impact occurred, but it wasn’t broken. So, she tried again. And again. And again. Fifth time’s a charm.

The girl flew out of the plane, still holding the dog, and landed on the water with a huge splash. By now there must be only milliseconds to spare she thought, so she placed the dog on a small piece of floating metal that dethatched itself during her demolition, and did something that was a cross between a doggy-paddle and frantic flailing towards the victim.

“I’m here!” And with that, she twisted apart the metal that was trapping him, and helped him get back to the surface.

Something everyone should know about Maddy’s strength is that she doesn’t exactly know about her physical capabilities. Anything seemingly inhuman she does is done unconsciously, and she only has such abilities in times of panic.
