Alicia kept her head down, dull eyes settled on the polished, round table in front of her. She listened to a few people speak, remembering one voice from not too long ago. The "annoying, snotty" boy, she presumed, or at least that's what Shad had called him. 'Oh great,' Shad groaned in thought, sitting on his haunches by Alice's feet, gazing around the room. Be nice, she thought back, voice soft and smooth like it was when she spoke aloud.
She then heard the voice she had been hearing over the phone a few times, unseeing gaze drifting upward a bit. X? she guessed, the wolf leaning against her leg, as if to confirm her thoughts. Alicia listened to him speak, arching a careful brow when the word "Book Club" was spoken. Cool. She got out of Calculus.
Her frame went ridge when a hand patted her shoulder as X's voice was heard once again. "Of course," she replied in a light voice, eyes on the table once more.

Alice ran her slim hand along the slick, wooden table, the tips of her fingers finding the folder. She grasped it in one hand, letting her free hand drift across the surface. I wish I could read this on my own, she thought, voice sounding a bit frustrated. 'You're perfect the way you are, Alicia. Seeing does not mean a thing, you can look with other things besides your eyes.' Shad had thought back quickly, a weird sounding whimper escaping the wolf's muzzle. Alice's attention was brought back to what was being said though. Sit.. It.. Out. A sad smile crossed her lips, but she quickly replaced it with a light, easy smile that didn't quiet reach her eyes. 'At least we're safe another day!' the large, black wolf commented, craning his head back to look at his master.

What am I doing here, Shad? Alice asked, sitting the folder back down silently. 'What do you mean?'
Why am I here? I don't belong here, I can't help them. Really, who's going to say 'Hey! Let's go ask the blind girl to help!' No one..
The wolf looked down at his paws, 'It's just one assignment, Ali-'
Then there will be two..three..four.. I just, why humiliate myself?
Shad didn't answer, causing Alicia to give a gentle, airy sigh most likely not heard. She reached into her pocket which was opposite the one her phone resided in, pulling out a pair of heavily tinted glasses; with them, no one would be able to see her eyes. She stood up slowly, but surprisingly in a graceful movement. "I do not have a question, may I leave now?" she asked, voice calm and steady. Her gaze had settled on the wall across from her, but it wasn't two seconds later when she slid on her glasses, white wispy bangs hanging over them just a little.
