"Why is killing an impulse you ask? Because it is much easier to wipe the person clean off of the earth than deal with them keep coming back. See if someone had just killed Mary then let her sink to the center of the planet, then we wouldn't be having this conversation. No we would be talking about you and I not her."
Kitty responded to his pout with a roll of her eyes, "Beloved, dear," she began, addressing his childish look with an annoying, motherly tone, "don't forget, the events that lead up to Mary sinking happened a few years before we died. And you were the first known fighter in Everlost."
"You don't want me to kill her because you are worried about me." Kitty's face went blank, and she turned pale. I spent weeks perfecting that rant so it was a good enough argument! Weeks! And he didn't listen to a word I said![/i] She face palmed, her shoulders shaking, as she let out a long, pained moan, what's the point of trying to work with him when he's more interested in making out than the future of the universe?! "Well you are right about the war, but here is the thing. If we don't kill the girl she is just going to keep coming back. That is unless I put the new spell I've created on her.
Spells. Spells! Spells! Flippity flopin' spells? One thing she agreed with Mary on was that Spells spelled trouble. "What the hell is it with you and spells!?" She shouted before she could stop it. She quickly quieted herself and tried covering it with a smile, but it looked pretty pathetic. "Sorry, but, I'm not exactly a fan of spells, there has to be a different way!" She only realized that he'd take that last statement as jealousy for whatever he had to do with Mary to get it to make an effect. She just knew it was something awkward by the sly look on his smug face and the way he said, "I'm not sure you'll like the plan though Kitty once you fall madly in love with me once again, but at least it doesn't involve killing her."
Beloved had to know that he was an open book.
That's when Kitty caught the end of what One Eye was shouting to Beloved, "And what about the fact that she doesn't love you, don't you get? She'd rather puke on you if that was physically possible than ever kiss your rotten mouth." When Beloved wasn't paying attention, she quick slid her hand across her neck, in a motion like she was slicing her own throat, and shook her head, trying to let the girl know that this was part of her plan. And then quickly stopped when Beloved's attention was back. She quick stepped in front of One Eye to shield her from whatever Beloved was about to shoot at her.
Nico flicked a strand of black hair out of his face, a blank look on his face. His face was showed no emotion, his cheeks still a bit rounded, showing that he was still quite a child. He pulled his pair of red glasses out of the pocket on his jacket and perched them on his nose.
He looked down at the note in his hand. It was a tip from another Afterlight, though, it didn't help him much. All it said, in messy letters was, "Beloved has a weakness." Just looking at the pathetic note made him frown and crush it in his hand. This note definantly wasn't worth the glass of grape juice he had traded. Once Nico got his hands on that lousy tipper, oh! It wasn't going to be pretty! Though, it did give him a glimmer of hope, at least there was a weakness.
He turned a corner and watched as a girl with pink hair peeped out of a door and helped none other than the lovely One Eye into the room with her before shutting and latching the door behind her. This was interesting. He walked casually to the door and pressed his ear against the heavy wood, Beloved was in there, One Eye, and the pink haired girl whose name appeared to be named Kitty. Now, why did that name ring a bell?
After a while, he brought his fist up and rapped quietly on the door.
