A scrawny, scraggly-haired youth draped himself over a fence like a lazy cat, peering into the small yard full of lawn gnomes stretched before him. This is it, if I remember right. A lean, sickly-colored house towered at the yard's center... with tubes snaking out its sides to latch onto the neighbors' homes like leeches. So he's either an alien.... Or pretty damn smart. The boy's brow slowly arched. But his house is still here... So where's he been for two fuggin' years?

Sid had never investigated too much into Dib's theory the boy in this house was an alien; Sid just wasn't interested in poking through Zim's business. The kid was a weirdo. But after swiping a laser gun from him Sid couldn't help wondering what other alien weapons Zim was hiding... And considering he hadn't been to Skool in two years, now seemed like a good time to take a peek at his house. He had heard Dib shouting about the security at the house before - because Dib just about never talked to Zim, only shouted - but with Zim's absence, Sid wondered if the security system was still active.

Glancing to his right at the sound of chirping, he eyed a squirrel on the fence beside him, staring with eyes as blank as the lawn gnomes'.

A grin crawled across the boy's face.

He snatched up the squirrel with the speed of a striking snake and almost as quickly hurled it right into Zim's yard. As he figured it, there were two ways to gauge the threat of Zim's security: hop into the yard and see if laser beams fried him like bacon, or throw a squirrel into the yard and see if laser beams fried it like bacon. So he went with the latter.
