Mikuo was lost. Hopelessly so...and the worst part was: it was sunny. Damn, he hated the sun. Well, technically, that wasn't The Worst part...that was reserved for the fact that the young vampire could barely speak the language. Sometimes he really hated being Japanese...
Carefully inching around a patch of sun in the corridor, he studied the map he had been given, the words and pictures making absolutely no sense to him. And he wasn't sure enough of his English skills to ask anyone where to go, without sounding like an idiot. Where to go? I really not sure now...Ah, right! Room 169, is it? Okay, let's go! he thought triumphantly as he finally got his brain to translate the words on the page. Finding his room, (after more wandering), he set his bag down on his bed, and started to unpack. "Hope room-mate is nice...", he muttered to himself as he put his clothes away.
