Using all her will power, Maddy turned to look back at the absolutely horrid monster once again. It was so gross… and scary. The way its flesh dragged along the ground and jiggled whenever it moved caused a feeling of nausea. Trails of snot and saliva cascaded out of its nose, and leaked out of its mouth. Beneath it were puddles of the two liquids mixed together. Not only was the sight disgusting, the monster also smelled. Her face scrunched up as a few tears accumulated in the corners of her eyes. This was a nightmare.
She then noticed the boy again. He was in trouble. Why? He was being crushed alive by the sickening creature.
That slimy bag of flesh had laid its… whatever it had… on a human.
The look on Maddy’s face rebounded on itself, all the exaggerated stretching of her mouth and widening of her eyes formed back together, kind of like what you’d expect rubber to do after being stretched out. This made a blank canvas for a completely new expression.
Her head tilted downwards, so that a shadow formed in front of her eyes. Despite not being able to see her whole face, any one could tell just by looking at her that bsns just got srs.
She stood there for a moment, and everything was dead silent save for the wailing of monster and its victim. A calm wind rolled by, ruffling the tops of the trees. A second passed. And then another. And then another. And then…
Maddy grabbed the puppy, tucked him under her left arm, and just about skidded at 90 miles per hour towards the monster. It was like watching a water boat flying through the water, waves and splashes leaping up behind her as well as a triangular pattern forming a trail. You could almost hear a motor, an unbelievably powerful one at that. The second she was close enough to lay her hands on the bastard, she launched the dog straight up into the sky, several miles above the monster, so that it would be out of harm’s way. She then grabbed onto one of the monster’s legs with both hands and proceeded to lift, not just the limb, but the whole damn thing up.
The monster, surprised by the new challenger, dropped its previous victim to try and make a new one out of Maddy. Before it had a chance to do so, she began spinning, slowly at first, and swinging the creature around and around and around. It smashed into trees and rocks as it enjoyed its ride, causing a storm of dust and splinters to arise. It went around once, than again, and again, going faster and faster each time. A whipping sound started to emerge, and air that it knocked into was thrown off as powerful wind.
Around, and around, faster, and faster. Not stopping until…
Suddenly, she let go, and the monster went flying, drops of drool that hadn’t already been knocked out of it left a trail in its departure. Several miles out to sea, it landed with an outburst of twenty-feet tall waves reaching out and grabbing it into the water, never to let it back out. When the water calmed down, everything was silent.
She won.
A small, purple Chihuahua returned from its flight to land neatly and safely in Maddy’s arms.
