The office door gave way to the pair as they approached, and the small office therein was occupied by a man perhaps ten years Erich's senior, who heartily greeted his new acquaintance like an old friend, a toothy grin showing. "Mr. Brenner! Excellent to see you again..." He trailed off as he glanced to Alke, who he offered a brief nod, "... and this is Mrs. Brenner? I understand your hesitation now!" He, of course, referred to Erich's uncertainty to enlist without his wife's consent. Erich didn't take long to respond, moving ahead to place himself between the two somewhat.
"That it is, on both accounts. The offer still stands?" He asked, moving now to sit in one of the seats present, watching the recruiter with a wary eye. He was cautious, of course, of his prior experience with the type. He didn't want to repeat what he had experienced before.
"That it does. You've talked it over?"
