Jessica Saunders
"Open the gates Sarcowski!" the woman called over her shoulder. The man known as Sarcowski nodded with a sincere 'Yes Ma'am' and punched in the code to open the entrance gates. Yellow light beamed into the facility, with a few grains of sand skittering to the floor. Jessica covered her eyes and clutched her tablet as a Helicopter lowered itself and it's cargo to the ground with a mechanical whirrrr. Assitants rushed forwards to unhook the metal wires to the cargo as it hit the floor, and dragged it (on it's wheels) slightly to the left, allowing the chopper to land. As the stir created by the aircraft's propellors eased, Miss Saunders straightened her blazer and glasses, before briskly walking over to the helicopter and opening it's passenger door.
"Pleased to see you arrived safely Mr Telsa. And Subject 918-4X too," she greeted, with a very proffesional air about her voice. With a smile, she glanced over her shoulder at the tank that had been shifted, "I hope your journey was as smooth as your landing." Once the new Head Scientist was free of his transport, the chopper took off again, disappearing swiftly. The pair were being transferred from another facility, since the species that that division was studying was being severly limited. That and they simply couldn't handle subject 918-4X.
Leaving Mr Telsa, Jessica Saunders strolled towards the other new arrival. The pink haired child looked harmless. She was floating in a tank of a luminescent violet liquid that bubbled slowly. That was to disable her vectors, that much she knew. The child was wearing a white straight suit, that strapped her small arms across her chest, and her legs together. She was going nowhere fast. Jessica marvelled at the helmet the girl wore; it almost looked like some sort of alien head. The woman lay the flat of her hand on the glass of the chamber, and held her breathing as though it would wake the child. "She's...fascinating..." she breathed.
Standing back, Jessica tapped some data into her PC Tablet, evoking some beeping response from the slab. "Cell 4X is it? Righty oh then, can we get some Assistants over here please?" she called, and 3 young males came over. "We need to get this to Sector 4, pronto. We are taking no risks here." Promptly, the men tilted the chamber on it's wheels and headed for the lift at the other end of sector 1. Walking through sector 1, they bypassed some small, meaningless creatures. Many were covered in scars and other, fresher wounds and nearly all were shying away from the prescence of the Head Scientists.
At the elevator, Saunders stepped forward and held her face close to a small silver box. A red bar scanned her eye, and the lift doors opened, probing into what floor the party wanted. "Sector 4," Jessica told the machine, and they slowly descended. Some patronising music hummed from the corners of the elevator, forcing a small smile onto Saunders' face. "So cheerful, isn't it?" she asked, looking over her shoulder at Mr Telsa as she stepped from the lift. The floor they entered on already had two other subjects.
Sector 4.
Striding over to the cell on the left, cell 4X, it was notable how this was the only one on that side of the room. The other two were on the right hand side. "Mr Telsa, I believe you have the code. Care to share it?" The heads of the facility knew all the codes to all the cells. "After Subject 918-4X is secure, we will continue on and go through your induction," Jessica revealed, standing to the side whilst the cell was opened, the girl was placed inside, and the cell resealed."
